The front light on my bicycle has been broken for the last couple months. Which is not a massive problem in summer when it is bright for 18 hours of the day. However it is suicidal in late autumn when it is dark for 18 hours of the day, especially in a town like mine where there are NO street lights whatsoever. Thing is, I am absolutely hopeless when it comes to fixing electrical stuff, so I gave it to a friend of my mother who isn't. He couldn't fix it either :( . Naow, instead of throwing the towel I had one last go at it myself, and see, I mended it using nothing more than a Zippo, some duct tape and shears.

That feeling if you finally did something properly in your life :D

You should get a helmet mounted light. Infinitely better

yea that would be awesome as well. I use the helmet light. I find the front mounted light to be difficult to see sometimes because you (well at least with the type I used) could see the light sorce where as with the helmet all you see is what the light is shining on. The light also always points to where you look as opposed to where the handle bars are pointing. Riding on rough trails at night the light would be all over the place. I also like being able to look done and see what gear i'm in
